Support workers play a hugely important role in helping the people we support to be safe and healthy, achieve greater independence, have a greater connection to their families and communities and most importantly, to have fun and enjoy life.

Tasks will vary depending on the service plan of the people you support but can include:


  • Personal care tasks like showering, toileting, dressing and eating.
  • Household tasks like cleaning, cooking, shopping and supporting independence tasks like learning new skills, trying new things and connecting with their community.


Our support workers come from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds. We look at potential when we are hiring and your willingness to learn and grow in the role.

What we require:

  • Level 2, 3 or 4 Health and Wellbeing qualifications gained in NZ
  • Must have permanent resident, work visa or a temporary visa.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication. (English)
  • Clean, Full driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.
  • Available to work between the hours of Monday - Sunday 7am - 8pm with every second weekend off.
  • No criminal convictions
  • A reasonable level of fitness
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol test and be willing to adhere to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Honest, hardworking and reliable.
